Ryan Kozina, Ph.D.
Dr. Kozina is a licensed psychologist (PSY33896). He specializes in treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and mood disorders in adults. Dr. Kozina's therapeutic approach is evidence-based with an emphasis on a collaborative and trusting relationship. He primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure therapy and exposure with response prevention (ERP), as well as mindfulness-based interventions (ACT).
Dr. Kozina received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wyoming. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Sacramento VA Medical Center. While on internship, he received specialized training in CBT for insomnia, cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for PTSD, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing (MI).
Dr. Kozina aims to create an authentic and welcoming environment for all his patients. His approach to therapy is collaborative in nature and is tailored to meet each individual's goals.
