Training Mission and Philosophy
The postdoctoral training program at PAG is dedicated to providing advanced training and supervision in evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, and acceptance- and mindfulness-based interventions for clients across the lifespan. We offer training in the full range of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive, and trauma-related disorders, perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, and others. Our goal is to help fellows prepare for the transition to independent clinical practice as licensed psychologists.
At PAG, we believe in providing top-quality treatment to our clients, engaging in life-long learning, and helping support each other so that we can continue to thrive individually and as a team. We are passionate about staying on top of research in our field, integrating research into our treatments, and learning from one another and our clients. We help our postdoctoral fellows learn not only how to provide top-quality treatment, but also how to grow and thrive as clinicians.
Our postdoctoral fellowship at PAG provides the clinical and supervision hours needed for licensure as a psychologist in the state of CA.
