Elise Gibbs, Psy.D.
Dr. Gibbs is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY30380) who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for adults with mood, anxiety, and eating disorders.
She received her BA with Honors and Distinction in Psychology from Stanford University and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. She completed her clinical internship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center - VA Internship Consortium and her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, where she received specialized training in the treatment of mood, anxiety, and eating disorders, in addition to the treatment of couples.
Dr. Gibbs primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and incorporates elements from other evidence-based approaches based on the specific needs of each client.
In addition to her work at the Pacific Anxiety Group, Dr. Gibbs works as a Clinical Instructor within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.
