Jamie Kim

Jamie Kim (she/her) is a 3rd year Psy.D practicum student in the PAU-Stanford Psy.D Consortium with a strong interest in working with adults who are seeking treatment for symptoms of anxiety, OCD, trauma, mood disorders, relationship distress, or parenting stress. She is particularly interested in providing culturally sensitive care for clients from immigrant and racial/ethnic minority backgrounds.

Jamie is currently completing her primary practicum training at the Kaiser Permanente Psychiatry Department in Vallejo. She previously received practicum training at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System from 2025-2026, where she provided CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused treatment (i.e., Cognitive Processing Therapy) to adults with complex trauma, personality disorders, and mood disorders and co-facilitated a parenting support group for Veteran parents of older children. She has also co-facilitated a DBT group for patients with Functional Neurological Disorder at Stanford Psychiatry. Jamie received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she completed research on suicidal ideation with Asian American youth. She completed her B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed research on cross-cultural emotion regulation.
