Vivian Chen


Vivian Chen (She/Her/她) seeks to help individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal issues, and life transitions by providing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based treatments with a culturally-informed and person-centered lens.

Vivian is a third year doctoral student in the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and completed her previous practicum at the Sexual and Gender Identity Clinic at the Gronowski Center, working closely with sexual and gender minority populations with diverse backgrounds and various presenting concerns.

Vivian was born and raised in Beijing, China. She speaks Mandarin and English fluently. She is particularly motivated to support immigrant, international student, LGBTQ+ as well as racial and ethnic minority populations. Her approach emphasizes a collaborative exploration, considerations in cultural factors, and empowerment.
