Julia Wenegrat, LMFT

Julia Wenegrat is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (100357) in California and in Washington State (LF60518318).  She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in 2012 and her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Reed College in 2002.  Julia obtained extensive post-graduate training in treating anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and was in private practice for 3 years in Seattle, Washington before joining Pacific Anxiety Group.

Julia specializes in treating couples and individuals. Her area of particular expertise is exploring the entire system during the therapy process, with the understanding that we are all deeply impacted by the people that surround us.

Julia has training in The Gottman Method Couple's Therapy, the Couple's Institute Developmental Model and Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy and she these as a framework for couple and individual therapy sessions. She has extensive post-graduate training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the direct treatment of anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders.
