Dr. Pavlisin is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 32245) with expertise in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions in adults, teens, and children. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. Dr. Pavlisin utilizes a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and relational approaches that are attuned to each client’s unique cultural and developmental needs.

Dr. Pavlisin believes that clients are more than their suffering. This guides her commitment to helping clients align with their core values and minimize the impacts of pain on their lives. Her work focuses on equipping individuals and families with meaningful insight and practical tools for growth.

Prior to Pacific Anxiety Group, Dr. Pavlisin worked in the Department of Adult Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco. In this role, Dr. Pavlisin provided individual and group therapy to adults, worked as part of the triage team to coordinate care, periodically completed crisis evaluations in the emergency department, and provided clinical supervision in the doctoral training program. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa as part of the Adult Behavioral Medicine and Child and Family teams. She completed her doctoral internship at California Pacific Medical Center, where she provided therapy and assessment to children, families, and adults. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, with an emphasis in Family Psychology. Throughout graduate school, Dr. Pavlisin pursued extensive training in evidence-based treatment and assessment for children and adolescents in various outpatient settings.
